Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Central Valley Cougars (Greeley, NE) and the visiting St. Edward Beavers (St. Edward, NE), saw Central Valley's basketball squad wallop St. Edward by a tally of 58-16.
With the victory, Central Valley improves its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Pleasanton (Pleasanton, NE) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 8-10.
Next up, the Beavers play the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats (Cedar Bluffs, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. St. Edward will attempt to improve on its 0-17 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 32-27 non-league loss to Parkview Christian (Lincoln, NE).
