Iowa High School Basketball - Central overwhelms Starmont

The Central Warriors (Elkader, IA) basketball crushed the host Starmont Stars (Arlington, IA), 57-19 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Warriors (12-6) will now prepare for their test against North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA). The go into the Upper Iowa test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, North Fayette Valley walloped Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA), 52-49, in a league test.
The Stars now own a 1-19 record. They play next when they travel to Lisbon for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Starmont will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 66-38 non-league win over North Cedar (Stanwood, IA). The Lions record now stands at 6-13.
