The Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South basketball team (Upper Marlboro, MD), was overwhelmed 67-44 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD)
The Eagles now possess a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Surrattsville for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle on Tuesday, February 6. Douglass will battle a Hornets team coming off a 82-4 league win over International High School at Largo (Largo, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 10-8.
The (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD). The Yellowjackets come into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, Gwynn Park was overwhelmed by Forest Park (Baltimore, MD), 55-45, in a non-league battle.
