Rutherford Bulldogs (Rutherford, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cresskill Cougars (Cresskill, NJ), 43-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rutherford upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ) to play the Scarlets in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Scarlets go into the bout with a record of 10-10.

Next up, the Cougars play the NV - Old Tappan Golden Knights (Old Tappan, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Cresskill will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Golden Knights go into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 46-39 league win over NV - Demarest (Demarest, NJ).
