North Dakota High School Basketball - St. John crushes Dakota Prairie

St. John Woodchucks (St. John, ND) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Dakota Prairie Knights (Petersburg, ND), 72-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. John upgrades its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Woodchucks travel to North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] (Rolla, ND) to play the Cougars in a B District 3 bout on Friday, February 2. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 4-5. North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] won 63-54 in their recent league bout against Drayton/Valley-Edinburg (Drayton, ND)
Next up, the Knights play the Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots (Mayville, ND) in a B District 4 bout, on Friday, February 2. Dakota Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 18-1 record after their 66-42 league win over Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] (Leeds, ND).
