The Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL), 55-41 in Thursday's league test.

The Mustangs (13-13) will now prepare for their test against Lemont (Lemont, IL). The Lemont HS go into the South Suburban - Blue test with a 10-12 record.

The Hawks now own a 11-16 record. They play next when they host Richards for a South Suburban - Red test on Tuesday, February 6. Hillcrest will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 37-35 league loss to Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-15.
