Ewen-Trout Creek Panthers (Ewen, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Watersmeet Nimrods (Watersmeet, MI), 63-11 in a league bout.

With the win, Ewen-Trout Creek upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Panthers host Baraga (Baraga, MI) to play the Vikings in a Copper Mountain bout on Monday, February 5. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Baraga won 63-33 in their recent league bout against L'Anse (L'Anse, MI)

Next up, the Nimrods play the Ewen-Trout Creek Panthers (Ewen, MI) in a Copper Mountain bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Watersmeet will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record.
