Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD) and the host Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD), saw Gwynn Park's basketball squad wallop Friendly by a tally of 66-21.

With the victory, Gwynn Park improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Forest Park (Baltimore, MD) to play the Foresters in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Foresters come into the challenge with a record of 16-2.

Next up, the Patriots play the Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers (Laurel, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Friendly will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record.
