The Rock Valley Rockets basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host George-Little Rock Mustangs to 49 in the Rockets league victory on Thursday.

The Rockets now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sheldon for a Siouxland contest on Friday, February 2. Rock Valley will battle a Orabs team coming off a 69-24 league loss to Unity Christian (Orange City, IA). The Orabs record now stands at 0-16.

The Mustangs (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Harris-Lake Park (Lake Park, IA). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Harris-Lake Park was nudged by Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA), 48-41, in a non-league contest.
