Parkview Baptist Eagles (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Glen Oaks Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA), 66-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Parkview Baptist upgrades its record to 19-9 on the season. The Eagles travel to Port Allen (Port Allen, LA) to clash with the Pelicans in a 3A District 6 bout on Friday, February 2. The Pelicans go into the bout with a record of 6-15. Port Allen won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Mentorship Academy (Baton Rouge, LA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Tioga Indians (Tioga, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Glen Oaks will attempt to upgrade on its 12-20 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 23-6 record after their 61-17 non-league win over Rapides (Lecompte, LA).
