West Virginia High School Basketball - Point Pleasant thwarted by Hoover

The Point Pleasant Big Blacks basketball team (Point Pleasant, WV), was toppled 42-30 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV)

The Huskies now possess a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne for a non-league outing on Monday, February 5. Hoover will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 60-44 league win over Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV). The Pioneers record now stands at 16-1.

The Big Blacks now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Sherman for a non-league outing on Friday, February 2. Point Pleasant will clash with a Tide squad coming off a 40-36 non-league win over Man (Man, WV). The Tide record now stands at 3-10.
