In Thursday's non-league outing, the Lacey Township Lions (Lanoka Harbor, NJ) basketball squad felled the visiting Pinelands Regional Wildcats (Tuckerton, NJ), by a margin of 40-28.
The Lions (7-11) will now prepare for their outing against Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 9-8 record. In their last outing, Freehold Township was beaten by Trinity Hall (Tinton Falls, NJ), 63-20, in a non-league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 1-17 record. They play next when they travel to Oakcrest for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 1.
