In Thursday's non-league match, the host Minisink Valley Warriors basketball team scored a good 36-26 triumph over the Onteora Eagles.
In their next game, the Warriors meet the Monticello Panthers (Monticello, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County III match, on Monday, February 5. Minisink Valley will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record.
With the defeat, Onteora moves to 8-4 on the year. The Eagles host Rhinebeck (Rhinebeck, NY) to meet the Hawks in a non-league match on Friday, February 2. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 1-6. Rhinebeck lost 44-28 in their recent non-league match against Ellenville (Ellenville, NY)
