The Morristown Colonials (Morristown, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Morris Hills Knights (Rockaway, NJ), 34-29 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Colonials (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Randolph (Randolph, NJ). The Rams go into the Northwest Jersey - American test with a 11-9 record. In their last test, Randolph got by West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ), 45-40, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to West Morris Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. Morris Hills will encounter a Wolfpack squad coming off a 40-28 league win over Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ). The Wolfpack record now stands at 14-10.
