Perry Commodores (Lima, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers (Waynesfield, OH), 67-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Perry upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Commodores travel to Allen East (Harrod, OH) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 15-2. Allen East won 44-35 in their recent league bout against Lincolnview (Van Wert, OH)

Next up, the Tigers play the New Knoxville Rangers (New Knoxville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Waynesfield-Goshen will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Rangers go into the bout with a 2-17 record after their 42-22 league loss to New Bremen (New Bremen, OH).
