The Velva Aggies basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Powers Lake/Burke Central to 39 in the Aggies non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Aggies now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Drake/Anamoose for a B District 8 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Velva will meet a Raiders team coming off a 72-43 non-league loss to Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] (Leeds, ND). The Raiders record now stands at 4-15.
