The Riverside Christian Academy Royals (Fayetteville, NC) basketball knocked off the host Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals (Goldsboro, NC), 50-42 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Royals (13-1) will now prepare for their test against American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC). The Patriots go into the CAASC Eastern Airborne test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, American Leadership Academy-Johnston went down by Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC), 43-21, in a non-league test.
The Generals now own a 14-11 record. They play next when they travel to Word of God Christian Academy for a non-league test on Monday, February 5.
