The West Central Blue Devils basketball squad (Maynard, IA), went down 39-23 in Thursday's non-league test with the visiting Tripoli Panthers (Tripoli, IA)
The Panthers (3-17) will now prepare for their test against Central (Elkader, IA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Central notched a victory over North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA), 54-50, in a league test.
The Blue Devils now possess a 2-18 record. They play next when they travel to Clayton-Ridge for a Upper Iowa challenge on Friday, February 2. West Central will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 59-19 league loss to MFL MarMac (Monona, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-11.
