In Thursday's non-league test, the host St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders ice hockey team scored a tight 4-0 win over the Detroit Lakes Lakers.

The Crusaders (19-10) will now prepare for their test against Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Totino-Grace by Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN), 8-1, in a non-league test.

Next up, the Lakers encounter the Park Rapids Panthers (Park Rapids, MN) in a Mid-State test, on Tuesday, February 6. Detroit Lakes will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Panthers enter the test with a 7-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Lake of the Woods (Baudette, MN).
