The Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) basketball nipped the host Fishburne Military Caissons (Waynesboro, VA), 40-36 in Thursday's league test.

The Chiefs (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA). The Flames go into the test with a 3-5 record.

The Caissons now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Miller School of Albemarle for a test on Monday, February 12.
