The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Leo Lions (Leo, IN) and the visiting Bellmont Braves (Decatur, IN), observed Leo's basketball team overwhelm Bellmont by a margin of 71-30.

The Lions (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against DeKalb (Waterloo, IN). The Barons come into the Northeast 8 challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, DeKalb trounced Huntington North (Huntington, IN), 65-58, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Braves battle the East Noble Knights (Kendallville, IN) in a Northeast 8 challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Bellmont will attempt to better on its 2-13 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 61-46 league win over Norwell (Ossian, IN).
