In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Broken Bow Savages basketball team scored a good 67-57 triumph over the Howe Lions.
The Savages (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Idabel (Idabel, OK). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Idabel topped Ada (Ada, OK), 53-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Talihina Golden Tigers (Talihina, OK) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 3. Howe will attempt to better on its 10-9 season record. The Golden Tigers go into the contest with a 7-6 record after their 53-46 league loss to Wilburton (Wilburton, OK).
