Illinois High School Basketball - Schlarman sneaks past Calvary Christian Academy

The Schlarman Hilltoppers (Danville, IL) basketball edged the host Calvary Christian Academy Knights (Normal, IL), 53-51 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Hilltoppers now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Georgetown-Ridge Farm for a Vermilion Valley bout on Tuesday, February 4. Schlarman will play a Buffaloes team coming off a 54-44 league loss to Chrisman (Chrisman, IL). The Buffaloes record now stands at 3-21.
With the loss, Calvary Christian Academy falls to 7-15 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Greenview (Greenview, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a Tomahawk bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-19. Greenview lost 42-18 in their recent league bout against DeLand-Weldon (DeLand, IL)
