In Saturday's non-league test, the Triad Knights (Troy, IL) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Carbondale Terriers (Carbondale, IL), by a score of 60-50.
Next, the Knights encounter the Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 4. Triad will attempt to improve on its 20-5 season record. The Rockets come into the test with a 16-7 record after their 51-36 league loss to Glenwood (Chatham, IL).
The Terriers (9-14) will now prepare for their test against Centralia (Centralia, IL). The Orphans come into the South Seven test with a 21-3 record. In their last test, Centralia beat Waltonville (Waltonville, IL), 49-45, in a non-league test.
