The Cedar Shoals Jaguars basketball squad (Athens, GA), was nudged 66-61 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles (Rabun Gap, GA)
With the victory, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee advances its record to 10-15 on the year. The Eagles host Carolina Day (Asheville, NC) to meet the Wildcats in a NCISAA Carolinas battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 5-15. Carolina Day lost 87-49 in their recent non-league battle against Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC)
The Jaguars now own a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flowery Branch for a AAAA Region 8 battle on Tuesday, February 4. Cedar Shoals will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 58-52 league win over Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 9-15.
