The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Chesapeake Panthers (Chesapeake, OH) and the visiting Trimble Tomcats (Glouster, OH), observed Chesapeake's basketball team overwhelm Trimble by a score of 90-38.

The Panthers (17-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Fighting Tigers come into the Ohio Valley challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Ironton trounced Wayne (Wayne, WV), 74-66, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tomcats encounter the Belpre Golden Eagles (Belpre, OH) in a Tri-Valley II challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Trimble will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 59-56 league win over Federal Hocking (Stewart, OH).
