In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Chesterton Trojans basketball team scored a good 61-47 win over the Hanover Central Wildcats.
The Trojans (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Michigan City (Michigan City, IN). The Wolves come into the Duneland challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Michigan City dropped by Marion (Marion, IN), 81-74, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Highland Trojans (Highland, IN) in a Northwest Crossroads challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Hanover Central will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 54-33 league loss to Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN).
