The Cumberland County Panthers nipped the visiting Southwestern Warriors basketball squad by a final score of 70-69 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next, the Panthers face the Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY) in a non-league outing, on Monday, February 3. Cumberland County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Trojans enter the outing with a 14-9 record after their 58-48 non-league win over Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY).
The Warriors (8-10) will now prepare for their outing against Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY). The Rockets enter the non-league outing with a 7-15 record. In their last outing, Rockcastle County was nipped by Pulaski County (Somerset, KY), 79-45, in a league outing.
