Colorado High School Basketball - Douglas County can't get by Mountain Range

Mountain Range Mustangs (Westminster, CO) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO), 61-59 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Mountain Range advances its record to 7-11 on the year. The Mustangs host Brighton (Brighton, CO) to meet the Bulldogs in a 6A/5A Rocky Mountain match on Tuesday, February 4. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 10-6. Brighton lost 83-70 in their recent league match against Boulder (Boulder, CO)

The Huskies now own a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock Canyon for a 6A/5A Continental match on Tuesday, February 4. Douglas County will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 62-56 league loss to ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-9.
