The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Durham Trojans (Durham, CA) and the visiting Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA), observed Durham's basketball team knock off Mt. Shasta by a score of 41-33.

The Trojans (19-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Winters (Winters, CA). The Warriors come into the Sacramento Valley challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Winters prevailed over Paradise (Paradise, CA), 51-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears encounter the Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA) in a Shasta Cascade challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Mt. Shasta will attempt to improve on its 14-10 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 12-11 record after their 71-41 non-league loss to St. Bernard's (Eureka, CA).
