The Northwest Mohawks basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting East Tartans to 24 in the Mohawks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mohawks now have a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Symmes Valley for a Southern Ohio II game on Wednesday, February 5.

With the loss, East falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Tartans host Clay (Portsmouth, OH) to confront the Panthers in a Southern Ohio I game on Tuesday, February 4. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 1-16. Clay won 57-56 in their recent non-league game against Wellston (Wellston, OH)
