In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Edwardsville Tigers basketball team scored a good 53-34 triumph over the Madison Trojans.
The Tigers (21-2) will now prepare for their contest against Collinsville (Collinsville, IL). The Kahoks go into the Southwestern contest with a 13-11 record. In their last contest, Collinsville topped Belleville West (Belleville, IL), 58-55, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans confront the Calhoun Warriors (Hardin, IL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 6. Madison will attempt to better on its 4-13 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 16-7 record after their 48-40 league win over Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia (Concord, IL).
