The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hebron Hawks (Hebron, IN) and the host Rensselaer Central Bombers (Rensselaer, IN), observed Hebron's basketball team overcome Rensselaer Central by a margin of 70-55.

The Hawks (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Senators come into the Porter County challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Washington Township defeated Culver Community (Culver, IN), 63-17, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bombers battle the Winamac Warriors (Winamac, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Rensselaer Central will attempt to better on its 4-12 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 58-53 non-league win over West Central (Francesville, IN).
