Virginia High School Basketball - Norview thwarts Indian River

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Norview Pilots (Norfolk, VA) and the visiting Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA), observed Norview's basketball team knock off Indian River by a score of 69-59.
The Pilots (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Mustangs come into the Eastern challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Manor prevailed over Tallwood (Virginia Beach, VA), 47-41, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Braves battle the Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Indian River will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 64-56 non-league loss to Grafton (Yorktown, VA).
