The Island Trees Bulldogs basketball squad (Levittown, NY), was nudged 54-48 in Saturday's league battle with the host North Shore Vikings (Glen Head, NY)
With the victory, North Shore advances its record to 9-3 on the year. The Vikings host Malverne (Malverne, NY) to meet the Mules in a Section 8 VIII battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Mules enter the battle with a record of 3-3. Malverne won 85-44 in their recent league battle against Lawrence (Cedarhurst, NY)
The Bulldogs now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lawrence for a Section 8 VIII battle on Tuesday, February 4. Island Trees will meet a Golden Tornadoes squad coming off a 52-38 league loss to Wheatley (Old Westbury, NY). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 0-14.
