The Lawrence County Bulldogs were victorious over the visiting Lewis County Lions basketball squad by a final score of 70-61 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Magoffin County Hornets (Salyersville, KY) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, February 6. Lawrence County will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record.
The Lions (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against West Carter (Olive Hill, KY). The Comets enter the non-league outing with a 3-16 record. In their last outing, West Carter was defeated by Berea (Berea, KY), 67-60, in a non-league outing.
