Indiana High School Basketball - Marion holds off Michigan City

February 1, 2025: Marion, IN 46953

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Marion Giants basketball team scored a close 81-74 triumph over the Michigan City Wolves.

The Giants (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Muncie Central (Muncie, IN). The Bearcats go into the North Central contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Muncie Central was tipped by Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN), 67-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wolves confront the Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) in a Duneland contest, on Thursday, February 6. Michigan City will attempt to better on its 10-8 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 9-8 record after their 61-47 non-league win over Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN).
