Tennessee High School Basketball - Pickett County overwhelms South Pittsburg

The Pickett County Bobcats basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host South Pittsburg Pirates to 35 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bobcats now have a 17-5 record. They play next when they host Red Boiling Springs for a 1A District 7 game on Tuesday, February 4. Pickett County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-33 league loss to Clarkrange (Clarkrange, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-16.
With the loss, South Pittsburg falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Pirates host Copper Basin (Copperhill, TN) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 3-16.
