In Saturday's non-league test, the Sweet Grass County Sheepherders (Big Timber, MT) basketball squad knocked off the host Shields Valley Rebels (Clyde Park, MT), by a score of 64-49.
Next, the Sheepherders encounter the Manhattan Tigers (Manhattan, MT) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 4. Sweet Grass County will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record.
The Rebels (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Gardiner (Gardiner, MT). The Bruins come into the C District 12 test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Gardiner was knocked off by West Yellowstone (Yellowstone, MT), 63-48, in a league test.
