The Valley Vikings basketball squad (Gilcrest, CO), was crushed 68-19 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Greeley Central Wildcats (Greeley, CO)

With the victory, Greeley Central advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Roosevelt (Johnstown, CO) to meet the Roughriders in a battle on Friday, February 7. The Roughriders enter the battle with a record of 5-3.

The Vikings now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weld Central for a battle on Thursday, February 6.
