The Alma Cardinals (Alma, NE) basketball crushed the visiting Paxton Tigers (Paxton, NE), 48-21 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Cardinals now possess a 15-4 record. They play next when they host Arapahoe for a D1 District 10 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Alma will play a Warriors team coming off a 50-31 non-league loss to Southern Valley (Oxford, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Paxton falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE) to play the Irish in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Irish go into the bout with a record of 4-14. St. Patrick's lost 54-49 in their recent non-league bout against Kimball (Kimball, NE)
