Next, the Lions clash with the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights (Arthur, IL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 4. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 14-11 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 11-13 record after their 57-25 non-league loss to Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL).

The Purple Riders (16-9) will now prepare for their test against Argenta-Oreana (Argenta, IL). The Bombers come into the Lincoln Prairie test with a 9-13 record. In their last test, Argenta-Oreana was nipped by Cumberland (Toledo, IL), 67-30, in a league test.
