The Augusta Panthers basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Boone County Rebels to 27 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now have a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Bath County for a non-league game on Monday, February 3. Augusta will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 49-41 non-league loss to Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-15.

With the loss, Boone County falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 16-4. Bishop Brossart won 53-36 in their recent non-league game against Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY)
