In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Beaver Falls Tigers basketball team scored a big 74-9 triumph over the Sewickley Academy .
The Tigers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA). The Wolverine go into the WPIAL 3A 1 contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Ellwood City smashed Eden Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 65-13, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the battle the St. Joseph Spartans (Natrona Heights, PA) in a WPIAL 1A 1 contest, on Monday, February 3. Sewickley Academy will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 12-5 record after their 64-42 league win over Western Beaver (Industry, PA).
