With the victory, Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] advances its record to 17-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg (Mayville, ND) to meet the Patriots in a B District 4 battle on Thursday, February 6. The Patriots enter the battle with a record of 15-3.
The Bulldogs now own a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] for a B District 1 battle on Monday, February 3. Sargent County will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 64-47 non-league loss to Maple River (Mapleton, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 7-9.
