Bronson Vikings (Bronson, MI) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Columbia Central Golden Eagles (Brooklyn, MI), 43-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Bronson advances its record to 11-2 on the year. The Vikings host Concord (Concord, MI) to face the Yellowjackets in a Big 8 match on Tuesday, February 4. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 13-3. Concord won 51-41 in their recent league match against Union City (Union City, MI)
The Golden Eagles now own a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morenci for a non-league match on Monday, February 3. Columbia Central will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 50-40 league win over Whiteford (Ottawa Lake, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-0.
