Washington, DC High School Basketball - Foxcroft overwhelmed by Georgetown Day

In Saturday's league test, the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Foxcroft (Middleburg, VA), by a margin of 52-5.
The Mighty Hoppers now have a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Sidwell Friends for a Independent School game on Tuesday, February 4. Georgetown Day will confront a Quakers team coming off a 67-23 non-league win over Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD). The Quakers record now stands at 17-2.
With the loss, Foxcroft falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The host King Abdullah Academy (Herndon, VA) to confront the Falcons in a VISAA Division II game on Monday, February 3. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 0-4.
