Next, the Owls encounter the Cheney Cardinals (Cheney, KS) in a Central Plains test, on Tuesday, February 4. Garden Plain will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 9-3 record after their 57-46 non-league win over Circle (Towanda, KS).

The Eagles (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Salina Central (Salina, KS). The Mustangs come into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Salina Central went down by Andover (Andover, KS), 66-27, in a league test.
