Washington, DC High School Basketball - Maryland School for the Deaf holds off Model Secondary School for the Deaf

The Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles basketball team scored 43 points and limited the host Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles to 36 in the Orioles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Orioles now possess a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Greater Grace Christian Academy for a Maryland Independent game on Tuesday, February 4. Maryland School for the Deaf will confront a Eagles team coming off a 72-34 non-league win over Annapolis Area Christian (Severn, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 15-1.
With the loss, Model Secondary School for the Deaf falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Burke (Washington, DC) to confront the Bengals in a Potomac Valley game on Monday, February 3. The Bengals go into the game with a record of 2-1.
