In Saturday's non-league test, the McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Todd County Falcons (Mission, SD), by a score of 55-37.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Lemmon Cowboys (Lemmon, SD) in a B Region 8 test, on Tuesday, February 4. McLaughlin will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Cowboys come into the test with a 13-4 record after their 54-48 non-league loss to Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD).

The Falcons (3-12) will now prepare for their test against Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD). The Buffalos come into the non-league test with a 1-14 record. In their last test, Stanley County went down by Crow Creek (Stephan, SD), 61-31, in a league test.
